Why the change?

Because today’s young people are dealing with more pressure, anxiety, and disconnection than ever before. Social media, substance use, and stress are taking a toll on their mental health and their future.

We believe they deserve better.

At Empowering Youth SC (EYSC), we equip youth — and the adults who care about them — with the confidence, life skills, and leadership tools they need to thrive. Through community-centered events, classroom sessions, parent workshops, and curated resources, we create opportunities for young people and families to grow stronger together.

This is more than a new name. It’s a movement to meet the moment.
